Imperial Enterprise – August Newsletter

Discover inventions from four top universities at the IP4U technology fair

As a reader of this newsletter, you’ll know that Imperial is home not only to ground-breaking research but also a portfolio of technologies, ready for commercialisation, that could help address major societal and business challenges in areas such as health and sustainability. You may also have heard that our peer universities Cambridge, Oxford, and UCL aren’t bad at science and innovation either.

Now imagine that you could discover technologies available for licensing from four world-leading universities, meet the brains behind them, and explore commercialisation opportunities – all in one place.

IP4U, a technology fair run jointly by the tech transfer offices of Imperial, Cambridge, Oxford and UCL, will take place over two days from 19-20 September at the Imperial campus in London’s South Kensington.

The fair will offer you the chance to discover dozens of top technologies for sustainability and future health, organise on-the-spot meetings with academic inventors and tech transfer specialists, and get the inside track on options for licensing our intellectual property. We will also be available to discuss other ways you can work with our universities, such as through consultancy or custom-designed research to generate the technology solutions your business needs.

You can register for IP4U through the Eventbrite page and learn more on the event website. Please also pass this invitation on to colleagues who may be interested. I am excited to meet you in September.

Best wishes,

Dr Simon Hepworth
