| View in browser Imperial Enterprise – January Newsletter  An easy way to navigate our opportunities for businesses As a reader of this newsletter, you’ll know that Imperial College London offers businesses and investors a range of opportunities to join our community, find solutions to challenges, and help us to realise the world-changing potential of the College’s expertise.   One piece of feedback you have often given us is that because these opportunities are so wide-ranging, our business ecosystem can be hard to navigate.   We’ve been taking steps to address this, and you may already have seen the how-to guide we shared in December that offers a primer on ways we can help your business.   For those who would like to delve further and need help navigating the variety of business services, partnership opportunities, and event programmes we offer, I’m excited to share news of our new Enterprise Portal.   With a couple of mouse clicks to filter by your interests, the tool allows you to quickly pull up a list of relevant opportunities.   We hope you find these resources helpful. Please drop us a line using our contact form.   Best wishes,   Dr Simon Hepworth Director of Enterprise Imperial College London   Visit the Enterprise Portal News Cultivated meat startup raises £7.9m   Multus Biotechnology has received funding from investors to support further R&D on its growth media for cultivated meat and the transition to manufacturing its first commercial products.  Climate accelerator begins new cohort   The Greenhouse accelerator, part of Undaunted, is supporting a new set of emerging startups looking to tackle climate change through innovative, scalable, and impactful business ideas.   Virus tests land role in film and TV   A new partnership between Imperial startup ProtonDx and Katalyst Laboratories will bring rapid respiratory virus testing to film sets and TV studios across the country. New shipping technology   A viscosity meter developed in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Imperial and Rivertrace will help make shipping cleaner and more efficient.   Big data holds key to greener steel   A startup with its roots at Imperial, is leading a £1.9m project to explore ways to optimise steel production using AI.  A consortium led by Deep.Meta was awarded an Innovate UK grant to explore ways of benefiting steel users in the construction sector.  Diabetes centre   We look back at the success of the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi, established in partnership with Mubadala as a state-of-the-art treatment and research centre in Abu Dhabi.   Events Imperial-Hitachi: Identifying climate game-changers for a post net-zero   23 January, 16.00-18.00, South Ken   A panel exploring climate game-changers and celebrating the new Imperial and Hitachi Centre for Decarbonisation and Natural Climate Solutions.
