Imperial Enterprise – November newsletter

You're part of a global network

As part of our university strategy, Science for Humanity, Imperial is rolling out significant new infrastructure that could help your company turn scientific advances into valuable new products, services, processes, and business models.

In the UK, we’re building the WestTech Corridor, an innovation ecosystem that will extend across West London. Our two newest investments in the Corridor, a site in London’s Old Oak and a £200m facility under development with Bruntwood SciTech, could soon provide your business with space to co-create deep technologies with academics, entrepreneurs and investors.

Internationally, Imperial Global hubs we're launching around the world will help our community convene across global boundaries. Since October, we’ve launched not one but two new hubs respectively in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA, and Accra, Ghana, which will complement an existing hub in Singapore and another forthcoming in India.

The Imperial Global hubs will help enable organisations in those countries to work with Imperial’s world-leading experts on the challenges that matter to them. They will also help investors – especially the Bay Area venture capital ecosystem – to discover investment opportunities in London. And they are already enabling collaboration over new models of entrepreneurship support.

Importantly, our growing global network could enable you, wherever you are based, to access expertise and local insights from around the world. This could mean a better understanding of customers, suppliers, and R&D partners in those countries, or a better understanding of local policy and regulation.

Partnering with us means joining an increasingly international and impactful network. To discuss potential collaboration opportunities, please use our contact form and we’ll connect you with an appropriate team member. Thank you, as ever, for supporting our mission to tackle the world’s great industrial and societal challenges.
